GP2. GP de Turquía 2008, Primera Carrera. Durango, Alberto Valerio P18 y su compañero en el hospital
Mayo 10, 2008 – 11:37 am | por admin |Durango terminado una extraña carrera en Estambul, con un solo coche porque el día de ayer llevó a la retirada de Valsecchi debido a un accidente. Por lo tanto, sólo Alberto Valerio condujo mientras que Davide, desde el hospital, se mantuvo en constante contacto telefónico con el equipo.
Alberto Valerio trató de mejorar la P24 con la que salía, por las penalizaciones, pero el día no a jugado a su favor y terminó en P18
ONE CAR ONLY AT THE START
Durango finished quite a strange race 1 in Istanbul, with just one car at the start because yesterday crash led to the retirement of Valsecchi’s car. So only Alberto Valerio drove while Davide, from the hospital, remained in constant telephone contact with the team.

“Starting from P24 I tried to do my best to recover the gap. And I was able to do it but just for 24 laps! Then the magic of 24 turned into a macumba because I made a triple spun while I was fifth, but I did not pitted yet, which means that I could finish tenth. Apart of these jokes, I was able the drive fast, my lap times being close to the leader’s ones. Considering the circumstances I was driving a good race, then I dared a bit too much and I lost what I gained”.
