GP2. Davide Valsecchi, noticias tranquilizadoras

Davide Valsecchi (ITA, Durango)

Ivone Pinton – Durango Team Principal

“Today considering the results of all medical the medical examinations, which have been performed in the most accurate way on our driver Davide Valsecchi, we all are rather serene. Davide suffered the compression of three lower vertebrae but passed a good night of rest. This morning, when I came back to the hospital, I even found him on walking around his room. He laughed and joked showing a very good mood. Next monday he will leave the hospital and come back to Italy”.

Davide Valsecchi # 16

“Considering what happened today I feel quite good. My back is aching a bit and my front is bruised but at the end of the day it went for good. For sure I was driving well and I am sorry because I lost the chance to bring home a good result. But I will get well very soon”.

Obviously Durango will race in Istanbul with just Alberto Valerio who, having made the mistake to take the chequered flag twice at the end of qualifying, has been penalized and will start race one from the twelfth row.
