Jenson takes over in Barcelona

Testing report – day two

Location: Barcelona, Spain

The Circuit de Catalunya was overcast for the start of day two of the Barcelona test this morning with an opening temperature of 10 degrees. Jenson Button took over the running in chassis RA108-02 and completed a short set-up programme of 20 laps.

The team concentrated on chassis 02 today whilst awaiting new parts for chassis 01, which have been completed in time for integration into the day 3 programme.

Jenson had a productive afternoon, completing a number of different set-up options to develop the car balance. He concluded the afternoon with a longer run, bringing his lap tally to a total of 56 for the day.

Jenson will continue in chassis RA108-02 tomorrow whilst Rubens Barrichello will be back in chassis 01.
